In the continued tradition started by our Board of Directors, Tree Trust held its annual Thanksgiving Day Planting at Vanguard Collegiate Elementary Middle School. In partnership with the BCPS and Soccer Without Borders organization, Tree Trust is bringing much needed trees to the large playing field to help provide much needed shade relief to the students and athletes.

The 25 trees planted on Thanksgiving kicks off this exciting project that will bring 65 new plantings across the field. Varying native species will be planted throughout the site that will not only aid in providing relief from the direct sunlight, but also help to filter pollutants and provide cleaner air to the students and surrounding community.
